I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), advised by Prof. Klara Nahrstedt. My research centers on mobile computing, indoor localization, and wireless sensing systems. I build systems that enable accurate, infrastructure-free positioning for everyday devices. I have also worked with Prof. Deepak Vasisht and Prof. Matthew Caesar.
Prior to my PhD, I interned on the Google Android Indoor Localization Team (2025), where I worked on next-generation indoor localization for Google Maps with Dr. Roy Want. I hold an M.S. and B.S. (Highest Distinction) in CS/Statistics from UIUC.

Research
My work focuses on making accurate localization available everywhere — even indoors where GPS fails — without requiring specialized infrastructure. Key themes:
- Indoor Localization: Scalable, infrastructure-free positioning using standard Wi-Fi (RTT/FTM), IMU sensors, and probabilistic/optimization-based backends.
- Sensor Fusion: Combining inertial, RF, and visual signals (PDR, Kalman filtering, EKF) for robust state estimation on mobile devices.
- Wireless Systems: Characterizing and exploiting non-cooperative Wi-Fi behavior, multipath modeling, and clock-offset-robust ranging.
- Robotics & Security: UAV swarm coordination, GPS spoofing detection, and SLAM.
